Cat Has Not Had A Bowel Movement In Several Days I Have A 1yr Old Cat And Need To Know If He Is Ok?

I have a 1yr old cat and need to know if he is ok? - cat has not had a bowel movement in several days

I have a cat (about 9 pounds), which has just undergone a major operation to remove a foreign body in his stomach, he swallowed. According to the EFF, which began serving thick clear liquid, odorless, that the vet was possible due to colitis. He has not complied with this liquid for a few days now, but do not have a regular bowel movement since the surgery a few days ago. The cat is now acting normal to be active, eat, drink water and urinate frequently, but not severely. Should I be worried or are typically exposed to a cat on drugs, etc. anesthesia in surgery? The vet does not know exactly when to expect that our cat has started pooping again.

The best thing to do is call your vet office to ask them. They will be happy to answer that question and the answer is to know about your cat and his health problems and a broad knowledge base of veterinary medicine - much better than the question of a group of strangers over the Internet, May May, or they do not know what to talk about it. You can explain what is observed - the appetite and activity is back to normal, but not yet issued a strong bench. You will tell whether this is expected and what is developed for the case in search of a problem.

I have to go to answer with his hand. Call your vet and ask what should happen. I want the cost of the operation it was important to talk to a veterinarian, should they like to pursue.

I agree with WinDia. Everything you need to do is call the vet, you say what you are and when and what your cat was there. Ask them to discuss with your veterinarian, because she doubts that the cat had no chair.

In most cases, the veterinarian is your call right now, but remember a couple of hours.

I would say that the cat will be good because if people like a cat (backup pool, and can not go to the toilet) is in pain, and do not usually eat or will be active. You said that your cat playing and eating and drinking. I think it's fair to have to adjust the trauma doctor removes everything in the cat.
